Our client is an award winning organisation and part of a family owned group and has been established in the UK for more than 50 years and is recognised and respected as one of the UKs leading suppliers of specialist plastic printed products. 
The company, with a turnover in excess of c£7M have established themselves as THE go-to supplier and market leader in a niche sector of the market where their name is synonymous with what they do.  More recently the company has diversified into Plastic Cards and Plastic Printed Products including gift vouchers, bank, loyalty and membership cards and it is this sector they see providing significant future growth
The company is highly profitable and financially stable and is committed to growing organically.  One of the key factors in the company’s success to date has been the recognition that in a highly competitive arena, what differentiates it from its competitors is its most valuable asset: its people, and the service they ultimately deliver.  This appointment is part of their succession strategy with the incumbent Manager due to retire in the next couple of years
This is a strategically important sales role selling to end users across a range of market.  Our ideal candidate will be a technically competent sales professional with proven sales skills as well as excellent interpersonal, communication and negotiation skills together with a stable and progressive career to date.   
A proven record of success and achievement in the commercial printing or packaging arena is absolutely essential.  This is a unique role, requiring a candidate who has empathy with the customer and who can talk technically
