Our client is an independent privately owned UK business with over 30years experience in the Logistics software arena.  They specialise in providing cloud based, client sharing solutions that incorporate a suite of back and front office products that enable clients to run their businesses more efficiently.  Their bespoke solutions incorporate Transport Management (route planning, vehicle tracking, hand-sets and scanners) warehouse management solutions including stock picking, priority order recognition, and inventory control
 
With an established user base spanning the length and breadth of the UK and Ireland, including some of the leading players in the industry the company is committed to driving product development and innovation 
 
The company is highly profitable and financially stable, and is committed to continuing its organic growth.  As part of their planned and continued expansion the company is looking for a Business Development Manager to further develop their presence in the Logistics arena, where the emphasis of the role is building and forging relationships with new customers

You must demonstrate proven selling skills supported by formal structured sales training.  The ability to build and develop enduring business relationships is prerequisite.  The role calls for an individual with industry knowledge and experience who understands explicitly the pressures and problems of the logistics arena.  You will be a determined self-starter with drive and enthusiasm.  This is a true business development role, requiring a high calibre sales professional capable of identifying and exploiting new business opportunities… it is certainly not an order-taking role.  If you have experience selling into the logistics arena and see this exciting career opportunity as the logical next step in an already successful career we want to hear from you.
