BUSINESS DEVELOPMENT MANAGER

Midlands, Flexible home based location

Contract Cleaning and Facilities Management Services

c£45-50,000 + performance related bonus

Our client, a privately-owned family run business has been established for nearly 30 years and is recognised and respected as one of the Midlands leading suppliers of commercial contract cleaning and facilities management services.

The Company provide services to organisations including the NHS, education establishments, hotels and leisure centres, retirement homes and social housing, retail premises and car showrooms as well as general manufacturing and warehousing.  Their offering has, over time expanded and currently includes a full portfolio of products and services including commercial cleaning, carpet cleaning, window cleaning, industrial deep cleans, washroom services (and consumables), barrier matting, pest control, grounds maintenance, as well as general electrical, plumbing and maintenance services.

Providing their services to businesses in all sectors of commerce and industry in both the public and private sectors, the Company has some high profile instantly recognisable names within their customer portfolio.  The business is highly profitable and financially stable and is committed to growing organically.  

One of the key factors in the company’s success to date has been the recognition that in a highly competitive arena, what differentiates it from its competitors is its people, and the service they ultimately deliver.  Accordingly, the company invests heavily in the ongoing training and development of all their staff.

Our ideal candidate will demonstrate a proven record of success and achievement in the commercial contract cleaning or facilities services arena.  You must have experience negotiating high value contracts (typically in excess of £100,000) selling both directly and dealing with high value formal tenders.
